# Dot's Home vs Cat Tapper

The clearest difference is rating: Dot's Home at 4.6 against Cat Tapper's 4.0. Dot's Home also leads on ratings volume (383 vs 1) and device support (4 vs 2). Cat Tapper's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 77%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Dot's Home holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dot's Home has 383 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of Dot's Home's written reviews are positive against 100% of Cat Tapper's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
