# FCI Box vs Aeropost

The clearest difference is monetization model: FCI Box at free against Aeropost's free with in-app purchases. FCI Box also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.7) and iOS requirement (9.0 vs 15.0). Aeropost's advantage is ratings volume (1.4K vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

FCI Box holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Aeropost has 1.4K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

FCI Box ships an update monthly, Aeropost every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
