# Zoox vs ParkZilla

The clearest difference is monetization model: ParkZilla at free against Zoox's paid. ParkZilla also leads on device support (3 vs 1). Zoox's advantage is ratings volume (28K vs 5) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 5 weeks). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Zoox against 5.0 for ParkZilla. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zoox has 28K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Zoox's written reviews are positive against 100% of ParkZilla's.

Zoox ships an update fortnightly, ParkZilla every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 18, 2026 and October 9, 2026 respectively.
