# Zoox vs VisitStarbase

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Zoox at none against VisitStarbase's 3. Zoox also leads on ratings volume (30K vs 6) and chart position (#37 vs unranked). VisitStarbase's advantage is update cadence (daily vs fortnightly) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. VisitStarbase sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Zoox asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for Zoox against 5.0 for VisitStarbase. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Zoox has 30K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 93% of Zoox's written reviews are positive against 100% of VisitStarbase's.

Zoox ships an update fortnightly, VisitStarbase daily. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
