# Miko vs Comet CE

The clearest difference is ads: Miko at none against Comet CE's shown. Miko also leads on ratings volume (2.3K vs 1). Comet CE's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 3 days vs every 3 weeks). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Miko sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $15.00 per month and Comet CE sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $24.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Comet CE holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Miko has 2.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Miko ships an update every 3 weeks, Comet CE every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 8, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
