# PRTV+ vs CEPP

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: CEPP at none against PRTV+'s 4. CEPP also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.6) and update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 5 months). PRTV+'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (286 vs 1). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PRTV+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. CEPP asks for nothing beyond the download.

CEPP holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PRTV+ has 286 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

PRTV+ ships an update every 5 months, CEPP every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
