# Comfort Link vs Taco Control

The clearest difference is rating: Taco Control at 3.0 against Comfort Link's 2.1. Comfort Link's advantage is update cadence (monthly vs every 7 months) and review sentiment (16% vs 0%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Taco Control holds the better App Store score, 3.0 against 2.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Comfort Link has 24 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 16% of Comfort Link's written reviews are positive against 0% of Taco Control's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Comfort Link ships an update monthly, Taco Control every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 14, 2026 respectively.
