# Mystery Files vs Unsolved Case

Mystery Files and Unsolved Case both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 58% of Mystery Files's written reviews are positive against 33% of Unsolved Case's. Mystery Files also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (5.8K vs 100). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Mystery Files sells 20 one-off in-app purchases and Unsolved Case sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Mystery Files against 4.7 for Unsolved Case. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Mystery Files has 5.8K ratings behind it against 100, so its average is the more settled of the two.
