# Side+ vs SnapServer

The clearest difference is update cadence: SnapServer at every 2 weeks against Side+'s every 6 weeks. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Side+ sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SnapServer sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Side+ ships an update every 6 weeks, SnapServer every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 5, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
