# SFW Auctions vs MTN OPS

The clearest difference is update cadence: MTN OPS at every 5 weeks against SFW Auctions's every 7 months. MTN OPS also leads on ratings volume (2.1K vs 2). SFW Auctions's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 5.0 for SFW Auctions against 4.9 for MTN OPS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MTN OPS has 2.1K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 100% of SFW Auctions's written reviews are positive against 94% of MTN OPS's.

SFW Auctions ships an update every 7 months, MTN OPS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.

- I just had to enter my credit card information six times. My attempts to get support for the problem were fruitless.
