# Burris Connect vs Arken Optics

The clearest difference is rating: Arken Optics at 3.7 against Burris Connect's 3.2. Arken Optics also leads on update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.6). Burris Connect's advantage is ratings volume (64 vs 6). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Arken Optics holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Burris Connect has 64 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 25% of Burris Connect's written reviews are positive against 20% of Arken Optics's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Burris Connect ships an update every 2 months, Arken Optics every 3 weeks. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
