# INKBIRD vs Temprobe

The clearest difference is rating: INKBIRD at 3.7 against Temprobe's 2.4. INKBIRD also leads on ratings volume (6.8K vs 19) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). Temprobe's advantage is review sentiment (44% vs 23%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

INKBIRD holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: INKBIRD has 6.8K ratings behind it against 19, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of INKBIRD's written reviews are positive against 44% of Temprobe's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

INKBIRD ships an update fortnightly, Temprobe every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
