# INKBIRD vs BF Home

The clearest difference is rating: INKBIRD at 3.7 against BF Home's 2.6. INKBIRD also leads on ratings volume (6.9K vs 9) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 2 months). BF Home's advantage is review sentiment (38% vs 23%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

INKBIRD holds the better App Store score, 3.7 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: INKBIRD has 6.9K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 23% of INKBIRD's written reviews are positive against 38% of BF Home's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

INKBIRD ships an update fortnightly, BF Home every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
