# Nectar vs Coin Scanner

The clearest difference is rating: Coin Scanner at 4.5 against Nectar's 2.8. Coin Scanner also leads on ratings volume (1.4K vs 6) and chart position (#67 vs unranked). Nectar's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 16) and ads (none vs shown). On price, update cadence, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Coin Scanner sells 15 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Nectar asks for nothing beyond the download.
