# LAVA+ vs Litejam

LAVA+ and Litejam both sit at 3.3 stars, but that hides the real split: 67% of Litejam's written reviews are positive against 28% of LAVA+'s. Litejam also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 21). LAVA+'s advantage is ratings volume (36 vs 6) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.5). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LAVA+ sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month. Litejam asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 3.3 for LAVA+ against 3.3 for Litejam. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: LAVA+ has 36 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 28% of LAVA+'s written reviews are positive against 67% of Litejam's.

LAVA+ ships an update fortnightly, Litejam every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
