# Sportimer vs LoopFit

The clearest difference is ads: LoopFit at none against Sportimer's shown. Sportimer's advantage is update cadence (every 2 months vs every 7 months) and iOS requirement (13.4 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sportimer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and LoopFit sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sportimer ships an update every 2 months, LoopFit every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on September 26, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
