# Sportimer vs Interval Timer

The clearest difference is ads: Interval Timer at none against Sportimer's shown. Interval Timer also leads on update cadence (every 2 days vs every 2 months). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Sportimer sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per 7 days and Interval Timer sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Sportimer ships an update every 2 months, Interval Timer every 2 days. The most recent releases landed on September 9, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
