# Journalshow vs SLAYLIVE

The clearest difference is update cadence: SLAYLIVE at every 3 weeks against Journalshow's every 4 months. SLAYLIVE also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Journalshow ships an update every 4 months, SLAYLIVE every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
