# falbergolf vs Olight

The clearest difference is rating: falbergolf at 5.0 against Olight's 4.2. falbergolf also leads on ads (none vs shown) and monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Olight's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 9 months) and ratings volume (70 vs 8). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

falbergolf holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Olight has 70 ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

falbergolf ships an update every 9 months, Olight every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 1, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
