# Lyrn vs Certly

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lyrn at monthly against Certly's every 2 months. Lyrn also leads on iOS requirement (17.0 vs 26.2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Lyrn sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $15.99 per month and Certly sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lyrn ships an update monthly, Certly every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
