# True Classic vs Bakcou

The clearest difference is ads: True Classic at none against Bakcou's shown. True Classic also leads on ratings volume (14K vs 29). Bakcou's advantage is review sentiment (80% vs 62%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, rating, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for True Classic against 4.8 for Bakcou. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: True Classic has 14K ratings behind it against 29, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of True Classic's written reviews are positive against 80% of Bakcou's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
