# True Classic vs Undrdog

True Classic and Undrdog both sit at 4.9 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of Undrdog's written reviews are positive against 62% of True Classic's. Undrdog also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.0). True Classic's advantage is ratings volume (15K vs 43) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for True Classic against 5.0 for Undrdog. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: True Classic has 15K ratings behind it against 43, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 62% of True Classic's written reviews are positive against 100% of Undrdog's.

True Classic ships an update every 3 weeks, Undrdog every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 31, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
