# Diary vs momo Diary

The clearest difference is update cadence: momo Diary at fortnightly against Diary's every 2 months. Diary's advantage is ratings volume (1.6K vs 128). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and momo Diary sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Diary holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.4. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Diary has 1.6K ratings behind it against 128, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 78% of Diary's written reviews are positive against 83% of momo Diary's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Diary ships an update every 2 months, momo Diary fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
