# Happysnack vs DATART

The clearest difference is rating: DATART at 5.0 against Happysnack's 3.0. DATART also leads on update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 3 months) and ratings volume (8 vs 1). Happysnack's advantage is monetization model (free vs ad-supported). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

DATART holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: DATART has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Happysnack ships an update every 3 months, DATART every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 30, 2026 and October 8, 2026 respectively.
