# KTV vs Universal+

The clearest difference is update cadence: Universal+ at every 2 months against KTV's every 59 months. KTV's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

KTV ships an update every 59 months, Universal+ every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 5, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
