# uStory vs Lovory

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lovory at every 10 days against uStory's every 2 months. Lovory also leads on ratings volume (3.3K vs 6) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). uStory's advantage is review sentiment (67% vs 49%). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. uStory sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and Lovory sells 21 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Lovory holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Lovory has 3.3K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of uStory's written reviews are positive against 49% of Lovory's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

uStory ships an update every 2 months, Lovory every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
