# Dailyx vs StopMotion

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Dailyx at 100% against StopMotion's 25%. Dailyx also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 4 weeks) and device support (4 vs 2). StopMotion's advantage is rating (4.0 vs 3.3) and ads (none vs shown). On price, ratings volume, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Dailyx sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and StopMotion sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

StopMotion holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.3. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7 and 13 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Dailyx's written reviews are positive against 25% of StopMotion's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Dailyx ships an update weekly, StopMotion every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 17, 2026 and September 25, 2026 respectively.
