# WatchMask vs NoteWatch

The clearest difference is update cadence: WatchMask at every 2 days against NoteWatch's every 2 weeks. WatchMask also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. WatchMask sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per year and NoteWatch sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

WatchMask ships an update every 2 days, NoteWatch every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
