# CheckList vs SkyNotes

The clearest difference is update cadence: SkyNotes at every 3 weeks against CheckList's every 2 months. SkyNotes also leads on iOS requirement (17.6 vs 26.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. CheckList sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 7 days and SkyNotes sells 3 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

CheckList ships an update every 2 months, SkyNotes every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 2, 2026 respectively.
