# LeapVPN vs Beacon Link

The clearest difference is iOS requirement: Beacon Link at 13.0 against LeapVPN's 15.6. On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. LeapVPN sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $12.99 per month and Beacon Link sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $2.00 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.
