# Teleprompter vs G

The clearest difference is ads: Teleprompter at none against G's shown. Teleprompter also leads on ratings volume (3K vs 140) and chart position (#160 vs unranked). G's advantage is iOS requirement (12.4 vs 15.0). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and G sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Teleprompter against 4.4 for G. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter has 3K ratings behind it against 140, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 12% of Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 16% of G's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. Both last shipped on November 3, 2026.
