# Teleprompter vs Penwok

The clearest difference is rating: Penwok at 5.0 against Teleprompter's 4.5. Teleprompter's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 1) and chart position (#164 vs unranked). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Penwok sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $69.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Penwok holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter has 3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and November 4, 2026 respectively.
