# Teleprompter vs Gramly

Teleprompter and Gramly both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 63% of Gramly's written reviews are positive against 12% of Teleprompter's. Gramly also leads on update cadence (every 5 days vs fortnightly). Teleprompter's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 13) and chart position (#136 vs unranked). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Gramly sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Teleprompter against 4.5 for Gramly. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter has 3K ratings behind it against 13, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 12% of Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 63% of Gramly's.

Teleprompter ships an update fortnightly, Gramly every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
