# Teleprompter vs Floating Teleprompter

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Floating Teleprompter at 100% against Teleprompter's 12%. Teleprompter's advantage is rating (4.5 vs 3.5) and ratings volume (3K vs 2). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 18 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and Floating Teleprompter sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Teleprompter holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 3.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 12% of Teleprompter's written reviews are positive against 100% of Floating Teleprompter's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Teleprompter ships an update fortnightly, Floating Teleprompter every 9 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
