# Teleprompter vs GEESI

The clearest difference is rating: GEESI at 5.0 against Teleprompter's 4.5. GEESI also leads on update cadence (every 3 days vs fortnightly). Teleprompter's advantage is ratings volume (3K vs 2) and chart position (#161 vs unranked). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Teleprompter sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per 7 days and GEESI sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

GEESI holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Teleprompter has 3K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Teleprompter ships an update fortnightly, GEESI every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
