# Capybara Spa vs Dog Simulator

The clearest difference is update cadence: Dog Simulator at every 3 weeks against Capybara Spa's every 3 months. Dog Simulator also leads on ratings volume (12K vs 1K). On price, rating, review sentiment and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Capybara Spa sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and Dog Simulator sells 22 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Capybara Spa against 4.8 for Dog Simulator. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dog Simulator has 12K ratings behind it against 1K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 80% of Capybara Spa's written reviews are positive against 81% of Dog Simulator's.

Capybara Spa ships an update every 3 months, Dog Simulator every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 31, 2026 respectively.
