# Float Control vs Scratch and Chill

The clearest difference is price: Scratch and Chill at Free against Float Control's $3.99. Float Control's advantage is ratings volume (82 vs 3) and chart position (#24 vs unranked). On rating, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Scratch and Chill is free to download; Float Control costs $3.99 up front. Float Control sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.99 per month and Scratch and Chill sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.9 for Float Control against 5.0 for Scratch and Chill. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Float Control has 82 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two.
