# eRecordStudio vs Dubnote

The clearest difference is review sentiment: eRecordStudio at 100% against Dubnote's 65%. eRecordStudio also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 17.3). Dubnote's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs monthly) and ratings volume (164 vs 4). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. eRecordStudio sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $19.99 per month and Dubnote sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

eRecordStudio holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dubnote has 164 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 100% of eRecordStudio's written reviews are positive against 65% of Dubnote's.

eRecordStudio ships an update monthly, Dubnote every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
