# Secrets vs IIVA

The clearest difference is rating: Secrets at 4.6 against IIVA's 4.0. Secrets also leads on ratings volume (188 vs 33). IIVA's advantage is review sentiment (78% vs 62%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secrets sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and IIVA sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Secrets holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Secrets has 188 ratings behind it against 33, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 62% of Secrets's written reviews are positive against 78% of IIVA's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Secrets ships an update every 5 weeks, IIVA every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
