# Quantum Plus vs Resideo Connect

The clearest difference is monetization model: Quantum Plus at free against Resideo Connect's free with in-app purchases. Resideo Connect's advantage is ratings volume (45K vs 96) and review sentiment (20% vs 0%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Quantum Plus against 4.7 for Resideo Connect. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Resideo Connect has 45K ratings behind it against 96, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 0% of Quantum Plus's written reviews are positive against 20% of Resideo Connect's.
