# Task Flow vs LiveFirst

The clearest difference is rating: LiveFirst at 5.0 against Task Flow's 4.6. LiveFirst also leads on update cadence (weekly vs every 3 weeks). Task Flow's advantage is ratings volume (337 vs 6) and device support (4 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Task Flow sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and LiveFirst sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

LiveFirst holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Task Flow has 337 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Task Flow ships an update every 3 weeks, LiveFirst weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
