# Gamfun vs Famy

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Famy at 90% against Gamfun's 33%. Famy also leads on rating (5.0 vs 3.2) and ratings volume (26 vs 5). Gamfun's advantage is iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Gamfun sells 8 one-off in-app purchases and Famy sells 11 in-app purchases, starting at $19.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Famy holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Famy has 26 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 33% of Gamfun's written reviews are positive against 90% of Famy's.

Gamfun ships an update every 2 weeks, Famy every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 8, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
