# Cynch vs Flash Drivers

The clearest difference is rating: Flash Drivers at 3.4 against Cynch's 2.6. Flash Drivers also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and update cadence (every 3 weeks vs every 2 months). Cynch's advantage is ratings volume (54 vs 5) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Flash Drivers holds the better App Store score, 3.4 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Cynch has 54 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 27% of Cynch's written reviews are positive against 25% of Flash Drivers's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Cynch ships an update every 2 months, Flash Drivers every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 28, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
