# Nitro Photo vs GRPS

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Nitro Photo at 62 against GRPS's 5. Nitro Photo also leads on device support (3 vs 1). GRPS's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 86%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Nitro Photo sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month and GRPS sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Nitro Photo against 4.8 for GRPS. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Nitro Photo has 62 ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 86% of Nitro Photo's written reviews are positive against 100% of GRPS's.

Nitro Photo ships an update every 3 weeks, GRPS every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
