# MergeX vs Notetka

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notetka at every 10 days against MergeX's every 3 weeks. MergeX's advantage is device support (4 vs 2) and iOS requirement (15.0 vs 26.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. MergeX sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month and Notetka sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

MergeX ships an update every 3 weeks, Notetka every 10 days. The most recent releases landed on October 14, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
