# Baraxax vs First Run

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Baraxax at 100% against First Run's 68%. First Run's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 5 weeks) and rating (4.0 vs 3.7). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

First Run holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: First Run has 95 ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Baraxax's written reviews are positive against 68% of First Run's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Baraxax ships an update every 5 weeks, First Run every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
