# Math Problem Solver app vs Homework AI

The clearest difference is rating: Homework AI at 4.8 against Math Problem Solver app's 2.6. Homework AI also leads on ratings volume (4.9K vs 402) and device support (4 vs 2). Math Problem Solver app's advantage is review sentiment (75% vs 63%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Math Problem Solver app sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days and Homework AI sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Homework AI holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 2.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Homework AI has 4.9K ratings behind it against 402, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 75% of Math Problem Solver app's written reviews are positive against 63% of Homework AI's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Math Problem Solver app ships an update every 2 weeks, Homework AI every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 7, 2026 and September 28, 2026 respectively.
