# TorchLive vs VLive

The clearest difference is rating: TorchLive at 5.0 against VLive's 1.0. TorchLive also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.6). VLive's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs monthly) and ratings volume (5 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TorchLive sells 5 one-off in-app purchases and VLive sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

TorchLive holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 1.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: VLive has 5 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

TorchLive ships an update monthly, VLive every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 13, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
