# Secure VPN Proxy vs PlatoVPN Fast

Secure VPN Proxy and PlatoVPN Fast both sit at 4.6 stars, but that hides the real split: 85% of Secure VPN Proxy's written reviews are positive against 29% of PlatoVPN Fast's. Secure VPN Proxy also leads on iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). PlatoVPN Fast's advantage is monetization model (freemium vs subscription) and ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Secure VPN Proxy sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per 7 days and PlatoVPN Fast sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PlatoVPN Fast holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.6. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 5K and 5.8K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 85% of Secure VPN Proxy's written reviews are positive against 29% of PlatoVPN Fast's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
