# PDF Editor vs PDF Editor

PDF Editor and PDF Editor both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 70% of PDF Editor's written reviews are positive against 48% of PDF Editor's. PDF Editor also leads on ratings volume (917 vs 39) and update cadence (fortnightly vs every 6 weeks). On price, rating, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. PDF Editor sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days and PDF Editor sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for PDF Editor against 4.5 for PDF Editor. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: PDF Editor has 917 ratings behind it against 39, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 70% of PDF Editor's written reviews are positive against 48% of PDF Editor's.

PDF Editor ships an update fortnightly, PDF Editor every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 27, 2026.
